John Lolley

did this child also die young, like the other brother called John?? If not, he may be the John Lolley who married one Emily, and had a daughter called Ada Christened 21 Dec 1876 at St Lawrence, York.

Emma Parkin

~Jeni was proxy, and I baptised her.

This birth date is a guess, I really need to either find her chirstening, or her on the 1871 Census.
Her marriage was entered in the marriage indexes as Ama Parkin, to Thomas Lolley, at Leeds, Vol 9b Page 675. It is no wonder I had difficulty finding it. there are no Emma Parkin's marrying anyone called Lolley/lolly. Perhaps they just heard the name wrong??

Ann Lolley

THere is a Ama Anna Lolley Chr 14 Mar 1875 in Heminbrough. Is this the same person?

Matthew Raper

A possible marriage for Matthew:
Matthew RAPER
Sex: M
Marriage(s):
Spouse: Susannah STORK
Marriage: 18 Aug 1791
Holme Upon Spalding Moor, Yorkshire, England
Source Information:
Batch number: Dates Source Call No. Type Printout Call No. Type
M012083 1715-1812 0919428 Film 6900067 Film
it seems unlikely now, as I have found a Matthew Raper Been Christened in Holme Upon Spalding Moor 27 Feb 1763, to Mickel and Ann Raper. So unless this Matthew died young, it is likely he is the one who marries Susannah Stork.

Richard Raper

Could Richard be from Thorne, about 20 miles south west of Lockington, and about 5 miles north east of Doncaster?? There is a Richard Raper Christened there son of Thomas Raper, 16 May 1708, which would fit quite well.... 10 MAy 2002

Jane Spencer

christopher lee kayson has found the name jane spencer has been submitted for temple work january 15th 2015

John Threadgold

I have a note giving the Bruial details of one Mabel threadgold, buried at Cawood 1 Feb 1670. No other Information.

From Ronnie Price, about where he has searched for John's Birth:
Brian,
Got your e-mail of a few days ago - thanks.
I have checked my records to see which parish records I had looked for the
baptism of John Threadgold. I searched the following (looking in the period
1682-1702):-
Swillington
Aberford
Ledsham
Sherburn in Elmet
Monk Fryston
Birkin
Wistow
Hemingsbury (or Hemingbrough)
Ryther
Selby
Stillingfleet
Kippax
Garforth
Barwick in Elmet
Riccall
Saxton
Harewood
Rothwell
Methley
!As you will see if you look at a map of parishes, I think I coverered most of
the immediately surrounding parishes. Some of the others searched are not so
close - I imagine I checked them when primarily looking for other people from
different ancestor families. However, there are a couple of parishes close to
Cawood that I did not search - probably because the records were not easliy
accessible (or maybe don't go back very far?). Chief amongst these would be the
neighbouring parish of Fenton.
Hope this is helpful.
Better start my work now!
Ronnie

Margaret Palmer

Mary died before 1744, probably at Cawood.
Ronnie Price writes, that he had written down Mary Palmer, not Margaret Palmer, as the wife of John...THis from Bishop's transcripts at the Borthwick Institute in York.
