Learn more about the Latter Day Saints

28 Dec 2005: I have just found my notes which I made from earlier research into the Cemetery records of York Cemtery. The notes are for many of the families listed below, but date from 2 Feb 1838 to 5 Mar 1884. I was hoping I would find notes right up to 1900, but I do not think I went that far. It is a shame, because I have someone I want to check up in the era of 1893, but I do not have the notes. I will have to do that on another visit.

I also have made some notes of burials from 1961 to 1979, but these are too recent to put on my site. I think I might make a mention of which surnames are available and should anyone wish to ask me for more details, then I will help where I can.

I have finished transcribing some records from the York Cemetery which I noted down from the records held at the City of York Archives. They range from 1900 to 1950. There are many more records that I have ranging from 1837 to 1900, but I have yet to transcribe them. I will add those as I finish the transcribing.

The following links will take you to a page showing all the people of that particular surname who were buried in the York Cemetery between 1900 & 1950.
On most of these pages you will find some of the entries have been colour coded. This is to show possible or definite links between families. Each colour relates to a particular family on that page. An easy example to pick up on is that of the Weadley Family, where 6 entries are all linked to the same family. If you have any comments or suggestions please let me know by emailing me.
