This family lived at two different addresses in the 1871 Census. First they were living at Cross Court, Redeness St, York. The other address was 21, Layerthorpe, York. Joseph Senior was a Lamplighter for a while.

This Joseph Bulmer was made a Freeman of the City of York on the 19 Jul 1863.
He was a Bricklayer and lived in the Layerthorpe area of York.

Adelaide Maria Bulmer-2747

She became a member of the Salem Chapel Congregationalist church on the 6th October 1898. She was member number 938, and lived at 24 Bishopgate, York, at the time. The notes also say that she was married, but the name of the husband had never been entered. Instead it said 'married name wanted.'
Her name was given as Adela Bulmer. No Parentage was given, indeed it never was given in the records of Salem chapel if an adult had joined.

William was given the freedom of the City of York on the 24 may 1897.
He was living at 46 Hampden St, York at the time and was a joiner.

Peter Bulmer Rev-1985

He was the Vicar of the Parish of Thorpe St Peter in Lincolnshire where he and his wife Hannah had 6 children. Not sure if they later moved up to york again though. Possbily not.
George & Sarah (nee Hearon) of Goodramgate, York were my 5x great grandparents.Their son, Peter was vicar of Croft, Lincs, 1781-1834; m. Hannah Kidd of Ripon 1783.The line continues:

. In 1881 census as a retired rope maker with second wife Nancy in Cumberland. He worked as a Flax dresser.

thomas was a PLumber and......Glacier?? I could not quite read it well on the 1851 Census. THey were living at 4 Monk Terrace, York at the time.

He was a Grocer of Haymarket, York. He was Chamberlain of the City of York in 1822. He received the Freedom of the City of York in 1813.
