!I cannot find any refrence to the birth of their first child Thomas Francis except that he was mentioned in his Grandfather Francis' Will which was proved Oct 1835.

Hello.
I was interested to find your website just, in particular the reference to
Revd Edward Layng, who was vicar here at Milwich. I thought you might like
to know that Emily Layng died here on 2 Nov 1902, and was buried just north
of the church tower four days later; a stone cross marks the spot. There is
a window in the church in memory of her and marking Edward’s time as vicar.
I have a photograph of Edward; my grandmother remembered him well. He died
in Leicester.
