In the Autumn 1920 Eletoral Register of York, the following people were living at 7, Bilton St, York:
Annie Elizabeth Caulfield (Mother or Daughter??),
James Henry Caulfield,
Albert William Cole,
Walter Benjamin Cole.Prior to this 6 months earlier, in the previous Electoral Register, there was only Annie Elizabeth Caulfield living there.

Charles had King Charles I as a god father. and a grandson - Charles is stated as of 'The Middle Temple' ( Law Temple - on the Victoria Embankment, London next to Somerset House, the Royal Courts of Justice and the Public Records office), and of St Andrews, Holburn. He was secretary to the Lord Chancellor Cowper and married Alathea daughter of Sir Henry Thompson of Marston and widow of Henry Tempest.

There is an Ancestral file submission made by the Genealogical Department, Medieval Families Unit, which gives the same birth date as what I have here, only does not have any mention of who his parents are, and more importantly, that his wife is Elizabeth Davison. No mention at all of Sarah Allanson.
They (Elizabeth Davison and John Chaytor) married 26 Sep 1659, no place given. She is the daughter of Thomas Davison (AFN:83S1-C0) and Elizabeth Lambton (AFN:83RR-R0).
Perhaps then, John Chaytor was married twice??
Elizabeth Davison is said to have been Chr 5 oct 1637 Of Grundon, Durham, England.There is also a John Chaytor marrying an Elizabeth Lambton (AFN: 83RR-R0) abt 1629 Of Lambton, Durham, England. Is this the same John Chaytor who married Elizabeth Davison??
Hence did this last couple have a son called John Chaytor, who later went on to marry Sarah Allanson??
This would have to have been soon after the marriage, as John Chaytor appears to have died before 1631, as Elizabeth Lambton appears to have married Thomas Davison 10 Jul 1631 at Chester Le Street, Durham. They had 7 children
There is a Sarah Allenson dau of William Allenson in the IGI as Born abt 1636 Of York. (Film 537733, page 19, Ref 20177)
There is also a Sarah Allanson dau of William Allanson in the IGI Chr 13 Dec 1650 at St Peter, Leeds.
